A tow decision starts with the vehicle’s condition
A vehicle being able to move does not establish that it is appropriate to drive. After an impact, report changes to steering, tire clearance, latches, warning messages or fluid leakage to the receiving shop and transport provider. Do not drive the vehicle to experiment with a symptom or to see whether a loose part will stay attached.
If there is injury, fire, fuel leakage or an immediate roadside hazard, emergency services take priority. Once the situation is safe, the repair conversation can address where the vehicle should go and what information the receiving shop needs.
This page helps you organize transport. It cannot remotely clear a vehicle for road use. If safety is uncertain, arrange an appropriate assessment and discuss transport rather than relying on the outside appearance of the damage.
Confirm the destination before the vehicle is loaded
Choose the Boudreaux’s location first, then confirm that it is the intended receiving shop. New Orleans is at 2150 Earhart Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70113. Luling is at 101 4th Street, Luling, LA 70070. A nearby community name or a general service-area description is not a different shop address.
Speak with the selected shop about the arrival arrangement, particularly if the vehicle cannot be driven or unloaded normally. Confirm the name and address with the tow provider and keep the dispatch information. Do not assume that an unconfirmed drop-off, after-hours arrival or a specific towing arrangement is automatically available.
Use the location hub for the two verified destinations and shop contacts. Confirm specialized work with the selected location rather than assuming both addresses have identical equipment.
Information to give the transport provider
- Vehicle year, make and model, including electric or hybrid identification when applicable.
- The exact pickup location and safe access instructions.
- Whether wheels, steering, brakes or the normal loading position may be affected.
- Loose exterior pieces or openings that will not secure.
- The confirmed receiving shop and contact number.
- Where the key is and who is authorized to hand over the vehicle.
The transport provider determines the appropriate equipment and loading method for the vehicle. Tell them about the damage and vehicle type instead of prescribing a loading method yourself. Do not touch damaged high-voltage components or try to prepare an electric vehicle by improvising a disable procedure.
Records that help avoid a confused handoff
Save the tow provider’s name, dispatch reference and pickup details. Confirm the destination shown on the paperwork. If the vehicle is being moved from another facility, ask what documents and arrangements are needed before dispatch rather than assuming the transfer is ready.
Once delivery is confirmed, contact the receiving shop about assessment, claim details and the next update. Tow arrival and authorization to repair are different events. An estimate request or a tow instruction does not by itself establish the final repair scope.
Start with an estimate request if you need to share safe photos and vehicle details. Call New Orleans at 504-309-3092 or Luling at 985-331-0707 to confirm your destination.

Track transport status and the next intake step
Keep the vehicle’s current holding location, the transport provider and the confirmed receiving shop in the same note. Record the current stage: requested, pickup confirmed, collected, delivered or acknowledged by the receiving shop. If the plan changes, reconcile the destination with both contacts before movement or unloading.
Boudreaux’s owner Rodney also owns B’s Towing, a separate business. Call the selected collision shop to discuss the receiving plan, and confirm the actual provider, availability, timing and charges for your vehicle. Keep the transport receipt with the repair reference; delivery and permission to begin repairs are separate parts of the handoff.
