Collision Repair Done With the Vehicle Owner in Mind

Boudreaux’s Collision serves vehicle owners from two real shops in New Orleans and Luling, with collision and auto body repair as the heart of the business.

COLLISION & AUTO BODY REPAIR

Collision Repair Is More Than What You Can See

Visible dents, broken panels and damaged paint may be only part of the repair. A collision can also affect structural dimensions, suspension and alignment, electronic systems, cameras, radar, sensors and components hidden behind exterior panels.

THE REPAIR PLAN

Repair the Vehicle, Not Just the Estimate

After a collision, the goal is not simply to make the damage disappear. The vehicle needs a repair plan built around the damage, the vehicle and the manufacturer’s repair information.

That is why a proper repair begins with understanding the vehicle and the damage—not simply writing a list from what can be seen in a parking lot.

Insurance Estimates and Hidden Damage

An insurance estimate can be an important starting point, but it may be written before the vehicle is fully disassembled and all damage is known.

Start With Photos

You can begin an estimate request from your phone. Send the vehicle information, describe the damage and upload useful photos.

Photos help show visible damage, but they cannot reveal everything behind a bumper, panel or structural component. A photo-based estimate should be treated as a starting point until the vehicle can be properly inspected.

Why a Collision Repair Estimate Can Change

An initial estimate is based on the information available when it is written. If parts of the damaged area have not been removed, some damage may not yet be visible.

Questions before your next step

We have two confirmed shops: New Orleans at 2150 Earhart Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70113, and Luling at 101 4th Street, Luling, LA 70070. Choose your preferred location before arranging an inspection or transport. Nearby community pages describe areas we serve; they are not additional branch offices. Each location page has its own call and directions links.

When you are safe, start an estimate request with your vehicle details, a brief description of the impact and safely taken photographs. If the vehicle may be unsafe to drive, call the selected shop about assessment and transport instead of driving it for photos. An online request begins the conversation; the team still needs to confirm the next step.

Photos can help with intake and a preliminary estimate, but they cannot show every concealed part or establish all required operations. Access, disassembly, parts verification and vehicle-specific research may change the plan. Keep the current estimate version and ask what supports any revision. A photograph-based conversation is not a guarantee of the final price or a roadworthiness assessment.

The vehicle owner is our customer. Our approach is to plan around the damage, applicable manufacturer procedures, safety considerations and the technology on the vehicle. The shop communicates directly with insurers and submits supplements with supporting documentation. Claim approval, owner authorization and payment arrangements still need to be kept clear; no individual operation or part is automatically guaranteed coverage.

Rodney has confirmed collision/body repair and paint/refinishing at both New Orleans and Luling. The New Orleans shop also has confirmed structural equipment, Spanesi Touch 3D measuring and alignment capability. Other operation-specific arrangements should be discussed with the selected shop. A guide explaining a repair topic should not be read as a promise that both locations perform every specialized operation on site.

A collision can affect components and mounting relationships beyond visible sheet metal. The repair process includes relevant scanning, measuring, disassembly, parts verification, procedure research and final checks. Alignment, steering-angle work and calibration are addressed according to the vehicle and repair. Scanning is different from physical inspection, and following manufacturer instructions is different from claiming a manufacturer certification.

You can begin through the estimate request and tell the team that you want an appointment. The shop must confirm the arrangement before it is treated as booked. Include the selected location and the purpose of the visit: an initial assessment, discussion of an existing estimate or a planned drop-off. The request does not promise an immediate opening or after-hours receiving availability.

Have your vehicle year, make and model, a description of the damage, new warning messages or symptoms, and any existing estimate or claim reference. Relevant previous repairs or modifications are useful history. Safe photographs can supplement the information. Ask the selected shop what else it needs for your next step; do not assume every preliminary inquiry requires the same complete set of documents.

Rodney Boudreaux brings approximately 30 years in collision repair, a background as a body technician and painter, and service in the U.S. Marine Corps. His son Justin works in the business, and Destanie Dufrene manages both locations. Learn more about the people and repair philosophy on our About page.

Rodney owns B’s Towing, which supports accident recovery and insurance-related towing. It is a distinct business, so transport arrangements and the receiving collision shop need to be identified clearly. Ask the selected shop to confirm the suitable next step. Towing work for a vehicle manufacturer’s service center should not be interpreted as collision-repair certification from that manufacturer.

Use the location page for the shop actually handling your inquiry. New Orleans is reached at 504-309-3092 and Luling at 985-331-0707. Each page includes directions to its confirmed address. Before a tow or visit, confirm the destination directly instead of relying on a broad business-name search that may show unrelated companies or another location.

Keep the final invoice, the relevant estimate and authorization history, and any diagnostic, alignment or calibration records supplied for the work performed. Save material-specific aftercare instructions too. Ask whether an issue remains open and how a follow-up is arranged. These records make the completed scope easier to understand than a payment receipt or a remembered conversation alone.
